Ths Gods are finished.............. and it only took..........

I remember painting the officer in April 2006 and thinking what beautiful figures they were and yet for some reason between all other units that were needed for a convention demo game or other excuse they remained unfinished until July 2017.

For your viewing pleasure (I still need some camera lessons with the Tarty).
The completed unit of 40 Front Rank Grenadiers a Cheval of the Imperial Guard Heavy Cavalry Division....or as Napoleon called them his Gods.

 Trying something different

Let me know if there are any units that have taken you longer.
Cheers for now.

  1. Now Colin hat is a unit worth waiting for. I think you have done an outstanding job on these mate and the imposing size of the unit would be enough to scare off most opposition. BTW the table is looking pretty good as well!

    2. Nice light box mate - it would be a table if you were using 2mm though to be fair Colin...

  4. Supeeb!!! Well worth the wait. I recently finished an elite Prussian foot battery after 20 years. I painted the 1st gunner and gun 20 something years ago and for some reason went not further. Finished them in July and they went so smoothly I have no idea why I had a mind block on them? Great job on yours!!!
